Connie joined the Rea team in 2008. She and her husband Mark are returning to New Philadelphia, Ohio after residing in Delaware, Ohio.

Inside the Mind Of...

How do you define success? Success is a continuous journey, not just a destination.    

Why do you do what you do? I enjoy the process of crafting something and watching it come to life both in words and in visual mediums.

What is the best advice you've ever received? Pick your battles.

Just For Fun...

Describe yourself in one word. Driven.

What is your favorite movie of all-time? Moonstruck – I love the interaction of the characters, and it says so much about family relationships.

What was your favorite class in college? Marketing and journalism classes were always fun.

What did you want to be when you grew up? A veterinarian.

What was the first car you ever owned? A blue 3/4 ton Chevy truck.

What is the best book you've ever read? Anything by Sidney Sheldon.

Before Rea

Connie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural communications and animal science from the Ohio State University.  Her past experience includes:

  • Medical Mutual of Ohio: communications coordinator
  • Ohio Quarter Horse Association: public relations coordinator/editor of publications and web site
  • Physicians Health Plan: communications specialist
  • Ohio State Medical Association: associate director of communications

Connie specializes in business writing/editing and public relations.

Connie holds accreditations with the International Association of Business Communicators (ABC) and the Public Relations Society of America (APR). Her professional memberships include:

  • International Association of Business Communicators (Cleveland and national chapters)
  • Public Relations Society of America (Cleveland, Akron and national chapters)
  • Assocation for Accounting Marketing

Her community involvement includes: 

  • Leadership Tuscarawas Class of 2009
  • Ohio Farm Bureau/Tuscarawas County member
  • Tuscarawas County Beekeepers Club (web site administrator)
  • Life member of the American Quarter Horse Assoc., Ohio Quarter Horse Assoc., Eastern Ohio Quarter Horse Assoc., Northern Ohio Quarter Horse Assoc., and Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Assoc.
