Inside the Mind Of...Why do you do what you do? I love being able to help develop people into who or what they want to do. It is the greatest feeling, watching somebody you've mentored going on and being successful in what they've chosen to do.What is the best advice you've ever received? Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life. I'm not sure who said it originally but my grandfather always says itWhat did you learn from Richard Rea that you still use/find value in today? The Rea Way is the most detailed mission statement I've ever seen, and so many of its points are valid: choose to be positive, every day. Embrace change. Listen intently, fail forward. Have fun, enjoy the journey. All of these I remember and try to use every day to make myself a better person and do my job the best of my ability. Just For Fun...Describe yourself in one word. Perky! What one thing about you would most people find surprising? I enjoy performing at the community theater, but don't ask me to give a speech. I get too nervous! What is your favorite movie of all time? You've Got Mail.If you were stranded on a desert island, what would you want to have with you? My iPod, because not only does it have about 2500 songs on it, it also has audio books and podcasts. I could ive for days and not hear the same thing twice! What was the first car you ever owned? A 1992 Plymouth Acclaim that had a mind of its own; it would short circuit and start running without anyone near it. |
