Why do you do what you do? I chose to enter the accounting profession because it's an ever-changing field and it challenges me mentally.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? The best advised I have ever received is to remember that I am the “master of my own ship”. I am the only person with the ability to make my own happiness and set my path for success and/or failure.

What did you learn your first year on the job that you still use today? During my first year on the job I learned that it is okay to ask questions. You don’t have to know everything there is to know about the profession but you do need to know how to find the answers and who has the expertise in that area.
