Babs joined the Rea team in 1998. A native of Mount Vernon, she resides in Marietta. With her husband, John, she has children Adrienne, J. Benjamin, Anthony and daughter-in-law Stephanie.

Why is your greatest accomplishment? Raising my kids.    

What is/was the most influential person in your life/career? My father - he insisted that I have a college degree.

What is the best advice you ever received? Pick your battles wisely.

How do you define success? Being happy with your life.

Describe yourself in one word. Strong-willed.

What one thing about you would most people find surprising? How long my husband and I have been married.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what would you want to have with you? My husband, my dogs and books.

How do you unwind? Playing Texas Hold 'Em with a group of friends.

What was the first car you ever owned? A Plymouth Barracuda.

Before Rea

Babs received a bachelor of arts in accounting from Marietta College. She served as the business manager at the Marietta Family YMCA for six years, and was also a stay-at-home mom for 11 years before joining Rea.

At Rea

Babs specializes in QuickBooks and is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. She works at the Marietta office.

Besides Rea

Babs taught QuickBooks classes at Washington State Community College in 2006 and 2007.

Her community involvement includes: 

  • East Muskingum Civic Association board of directors
  • St. Mary Parish Advisory Council secretary and adult Mass server
